This woodland Feast by Fire is the kind of experience that makes people wonder why they ever settled for ordinary dining. Picture it. A crackling fire, towering trees overhead and a five course menu cooked over open flames. It is outdoor dining at its very best and perfect for anyone who loves seasonal food, wild ingredients and a bit of magic in their meal.
Guests gather from 6pm for fireside snacks and a seasonal welcome drink before settling in for an evening that celebrates Yorkshire produce at its absolute best. Every dish is created using local, seasonal ingredients, often foraged straight from the surrounding woodland. It is all about flavour, sustainability and that unmistakable sense of eating something rooted in place. Picture a woodland supper where every course feels connected to the place around it.

We can provide covered seating in wet weather. Cosey blankets are available for when the temerature drops. There is a fully functioning toilet for our guests with hot running water. Please ask our friendly service team if you require any assistance throughout the event.
*The event will be taking place in a wild environment with natural hazards you would expect to find in a British woodland,
please wear appropriate clothing and stick to the pathways and clearings.
*If we don’t reach a minimum number of attendees we may need to cancel. If that happens, we’ll let you know right away and make sure you get a full refund (or move your booking to a future date—your choice!). Please note, we can’t cover any extra costs like travel or accommodation if plans change.

This Sunday Feast by Fire brings a whole new energy to the classic Sunday lunch. Instead of the usual dining room set up, guests gather beneath the trees for a three course woodland feast cooked entirely over an open fire. It is relaxed, rustic and ridiculously tasty, with every dish celebrating local, seasonal Yorkshire produce and wild ingredients gathered from the surrounding woods.
From 1pm there are fireside snacks to nibble while everyone settles in, before the main event arrives at 1.30pm. The meal is served family style on sharing platters, the kind of spread that encourages passing dishes across the table, comparing favourites and stealing an extra roast potato when no one is looking. Each course feels grounded in the landscape around them, full of flavour, smoke and proper Sunday comfort.
